On this rainy but beautifully overcast fall morning I woke at 5:30 to prepare and then headed to Como Zoo for a wonderful 8 AM Engagement session at Como Park in St Paul.


Felicia and Ben are getting married in August 2026. This was a morning full of fun, romance and joy that produced some of the most romantic couples portraits despite the rain.


Can you believe that neither Ben nor Felicia have ever been photographed professionally before this day?!?

As you can imagine we get a lot of couples asking about having us photograph their engagement in Como Park. We love to help but since our home service area is located North of Princeton MN, Nicole Hollenkamp Portrait Studio does charge a travel fee. However, since my photos are generally created with available light and not with light stands or props Como does not require a permit to use their parks.
