Baby's First Year Timeline

Scheduled for 28-34 weeks
Maternity
Best scheduled between 28–34 weeks, when your belly has a beautiful, round shape but you’re still comfortable enough to move and enjoy the experience.
Scheduled for the first 2 weeks
Newborn
Ideally photographed within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still sleepy, curled, and easily settled into those soft, timeless poses.
Scheduled for about month 3
Tummy Time
Typically around 3–5 months, when your baby is gaining strength, lifting their head, and starting to show those first big expressions and reactions.
Scheduled for about month 6
Sitting
Best around 6–8 months, once your baby can sit steadily on their own and is full of curiosity, smiles, and engagement with the world.
Scheduled for about month 9
Standing
Usually between 9–11 months, when your baby is pulling up, cruising, or taking early steps—full of energy, balance practice, and excitement.
Scheduled for 11 Months + 1 week
First Birthday
Scheduled around 11–13 months, either just before or right around their birthday, capturing this joyful milestone while they’re still in that baby-to-toddler transition.

Each mini event is offered at a special rate of $250 for 10 carefully edited images, with the option to have a full gallery for $100 more—giving you flexibility while still experiencing the artistry and intention behind every frame.

Things you can prepare ahead of the call that will make your day extra amazing!
THIS CALL HAPPENS ABOUT 1-2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING.
When should I book my maternity session?
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28–34 weeks when your bump is beautifully visible but you’re still comfortable.
How far in advance should I book newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are reserved during your pregnancy and photographed within the first 2–3 weeks after baby arrives.
What if my baby doesn’t follow milestone “timelines”?
That’s completely okay. We’ll adjust session timing based on your baby’s development—not a strict schedule.
Can I reschedule a session?
Yes. Life with little ones is unpredictable. I offer flexible rescheduling with notice.
Do I have to decide all my dates upfront?
Not at all. You can book each session as you go, with priority access as a member.
What should we wear?
You’ll receive full styling support plus access to my curated client closet for a cohesive, effortless look.
Can siblings or parents be included?
Always. These sessions are about your whole story, not just baby.
Please note: Milestone sessions are shorter sessions that last about 30 minutes. This is usually enough time to get creative and try multiple ideas with baby but if you decide to do family photos or include the grandparents this may mean fewer portrait options of baby alone.
Also, the studio is petite and gets cozy fast, so I recommend having any extra family come in in shifts for any studio sessions.
What happens if I miss a session?
Your membership is flexible, but unused sessions do not roll over—so I’ll send reminders to help you stay on track.
Can I upgrade or add more images?
Yes—members receive special pricing on additional images and artwork.
Sneak Peek/Blog Post
I love sharing my work on Social media and via a blog post. This helps me create excitement and network with other vendors.
Social media sneak peeks usually use around 10-15 images in either 1 or more post.
Blog posts can contain my favorite 50-75 images from the day.
What I would love to see from you is any quips or stories that you would love to see shared along with these posts to make them more unique to you. I like to collect these in advance to that I can prepare and have the post ready for when the photos are done.
